"We love being at Heather Wayne's. Heather is a very loving and nurturing teacher. My daughters have gained so much confidence through her studio. Love her!!!"

"This year the studio has become our home away from home, Cortlyn & Kellen both look forward to spending their time learning from such talented teachers who truly care for them. I've seen such growth and confidence in the girls which makes me proud to be part of the Heather Wayne's Performing Arts Studio."

"I am so thankful Michelle has had the opportunity to dance at your studio this year - I so wish we had come many years ago. I hate to see this time in her life end. I am so thankful she has had such a wonderful positive place to come to dance. She thinks so much of you and HWDC as do I. Everyone there will always have a special place in our hearts!"

"I would like to take a minute of your time to commend Miss Melody. My daughter Hannah somehow developed this aptitude for dance that none in my family know anything about. She certainly did not inherit that from any of us. I have always wanted to foster that in her, but she waxes and wanes with her commitment to dance. Last year she had to be really encouraged to continue at all. I have seen a resurgence in her joy with dance and it is primarily due to Melody. I have watched Melody with Hannah, as with other students, and it's apparent Melody loves her profession and enjoys watching her students succeed. Melody seems to give all those kids singular attention, yet Hannah feels very special and literally glows under her tutelage. It brings me great joy to see her so happy and confident in her developing skills."
"For technique, commitment, mentoring, exposure to the best instructors/choreographers, ability to perform in many competitions/attend conventions and the best dance family, we drive to Heather Wayne’s in Braselton.
Our daughter has danced since she was 2 years old. She danced with another studio and in March of her 8th grade year, we made the very tough decision to leave that studio and her close friends because she needed more than what she was getting. We left and went to HWDC and have never looked back. These past two years have been the best - and she wishes she had moved sooner (so do I)!
Our daughter dances no less than 16 hours a week, does all Honors and AP classes at school, has excellent grades and will continue to dance with HWDC until she graduates. She is totally committed to dance and loves Ms Heather, all of her talented instructors and her dance company. The ballet instructor is Noel Dupuis and they are expected to have ballet three nights a week. It is worth the 50 minute drive which I looked at as great "dashboard time" with my daughter when she was under 16. When she turned 15, she had a minimum of 8 hours per week driving time with me and is now an excellent driver. With Company, rehearsals are on Saturday’s and we get one Saturday off a month.
The Company size allows Heather to really know all her dancers and to take a dedicated interest in each and every one. Heather is warm and big hearted and is committed to her dancers even beyond high school! Heather takes an active role in helping her dancers with their path thru high school, thru college and beyond. She invites fabulous choreographers to work with our dancers including Mia Michaels, Noel Marsh, Talia Favia, Cherisse Wakeham, Nico Greetham, Will & Mo, Amber Jackson, and Gregg Russell (all with whom our daughter has danced in just these past two years). The Assistant Director, Melody Mills, is awesome too!"
"HWDC has been such a blessing in my life. Not only did it help train me physically, but also mentally for what I do in life. It has also given me some of the dearest friends. Miss Heather put all her determination into us company members while we were under her wing. She made sure we did our best and got trained by the best. While I was in HWDC, I performed at Disney World, at the Orpheum Theater in New York City, at Radio City Music Hall and in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Once getting ready for the next steps after HWDC, Miss Heather prepped me for my college audition solos. I was accepted into one of the top dance university programs in the nation with a dance scholarship at Oklahoma City University in the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment. After graduating with a B.S. in Dance Management, I have had numerous jobs in the entertainment industry. Because of the training I had, I can thank Miss Heather and HWDC everyday for being able to do what I love. As being the first alumni that graduated in 2011, it amazes me every time I come back to watch and see how much we have grown."
